Our Board of Directors

Three of the five Air Whanganui directors are the next generation of the original founders of the Company, and proudly carry the legacy of Pam Williams, Gordon Swan and John Keesing, respected and successful entrepreneurs who founded a number of businesses in Whanganui, and were passionate about Whanganui, as are we.

  • Philippa Williams

    CHAIR

    Philippa is an experienced business woman, with a background in public relations, investment management and holds a number of governance roles. Philippa grew up in Whanganui and resides in Wellington.

  • Jeannie Warnock

    Jeannie is a lawyer and senior partner in the Wellington office of Greenwood Roche. She specialises in commercial property development and infrastructure projects. Jeannie began her legal career in Whanganui, joining her father, in partnership in the local law firm, Treadwell Gordon.

  • Heather McGregor

    Heather has a business analyst background, is a director of Whanganui based company, Tasman Tanning, and a school board trustee. She grew up in Whanganui and now resides in Hawke’s Bay.

  • Dick Newlands

    INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR

    Dick was a pilot for the Royal NZ Air Force at Ohakea for 21 years, he represented NZ in Washington as Head of New Zealand Defence Staff as well as being the Defence, Air and Naval Attache, and also held the position of Deputy Chief of the New Zealand Airforce. Dick resides in Lower Hutt.

  • Jeff Whitlock

    Jeff is a chartered accountant and principal partner of the Whanganui accounting firm Moore Markhams. Jeff holds a number of Governance roles, grew up in Whanganui and resides there.
